2012 128i and 135i coupe and convertibles

Today BMW has released official information on the 2012 135i and 128i coupe and convertible, which was formally accepted the middle of their current facelifts, or what Munich calls "Life-Cyle Impulse." Whatever its name, this update is quite small for a variety of models that are very near the end of its run. No sheetmetal changed in this facelift, only the headlights and taillights.


In front, light clusters receiving the same semi-opaque "eyebrow" which was first seen in the current 7-series and have gradually worked their way down the line. The same goes for the taillights, which combine typical brand of LED-lit double-L accent.


Inside, the changes are even more minor. A new Gloss White interior trim option is available in place of wood or aluminum trim. There is also an optional RIM integration option for Blackberry users, and the iPod connection is now done with the standard iPod cable, eliminating the former Y-cable.
